Today was “Traditional Day” in my office and I can really feel the excitement of Diwali. It really is the festival of light! Most of my collegues are wearing traditional clothes today and the office has been decorated beautifully…it sure has risen the spirit of diwali in me. I have finished my diwali shopping and am looking forward to cooking some delicious diwali sweets. Relatives have come down to celebrate the festival with us. Two more days to go and I am only left with buying crackers for the big day.
At this point, I just would like to say a small prayer for all those people who are not as priviliged as we are…for those who don’t have any families to celebrate festivals with and for all those people who need just a little hope in their lives.
